RICOWI, Inc. and Conference Committee Announces Fall Meeting Details

RICOWI, Inc. is pleased to announce the details of the Fall 2024 Seminar. Dates are September 25-26, 2024. A tour of Revere Copper Plant is scheduled.

Hurricane Idalia Update

On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, Hurricane Idalia struck Florida's gulf coast as a Category 3 storm. While Idalia met RICOWI's definition of an "event," after further investigation, the RICOWI Storm Investigation Program (SIP) leadership determined a deployment is not necessary.

On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, Hurricane Idalia struck Florida's gulf coast as a Category 3 storm. SIP Program Coordinator Roodvoets is asking for anyone with eyes on the ground in the area of Weeki Watchee, Florida and North to report if there is significant inland wind/roof damage.

RICOWI Announces Hurricane Ian Deployment

The Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, Inc. (RICOWI) has announced deployment of research team to Cape Coral, Florida to investigate damage from Hurricane Ian. The teams will be conducting the investigation from October 24, 2022 - October 28, 2022.
